ABOUT THE FOUNDER?
Daniel J. Sheehan Jr., founder of SIG has been in the Computer / Electronics Procurement / Manufacturing field since 1965. After 17 years with IBM in various management capacities, including 4 years as Procurement Manager of IBM's International Procurement Office in Taiwan, he joined Data General as Director of International Procurement located in Hong Kong. Leaving Data General he
joined Commodore Electronics Ltd. as Vice President of Worldwide Procurement Operations, located in Hong Kong. This mixture provides a thorough understanding of diversified corporate requirements. A combination of Procurement, Materials, Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering responsibility coupled with over two decades of direct Asian experience, forms the foundation of SIG.
