Signal - All kinds; audio frequency, coupling, impedani matching, line matching, line isolating, hybrid asd so on. Applications ranging from central office equipment to small SMD types for mobile equipment are produced.
Pause transformers - All types, including a very extensive range of through hole and SMD types with high voltage isolation for primary rate T1/E1 and basic rate ISDN applications, as well as T3/E3, ADSL and HDSL. We have produced more than four million sets of parts for Tl and Tl repeater applications since 1973. We continue to design for all the world's leading manufacturers of digital semiconductors including Siemens, Mitel, Crystal, Level One, AT&T, PMC Sierra, Dallas, Exar, STC, AMD, Cologne, Intel, National and others. We have been approved as a source for Tl/DSl, CEPT/CCITT, S-Bus and U-Bus as well as the Mitel DNIC transformers. We now have numerous standard products for HPNA, lOBaseT, 100BaseT, lOOOBaseT, ADSL, HDSL, XDSL and RJ45 connectors with built in magnetics. All our products comply with the specifications of ITU (formerly CCITT), ANSI, IEEE and Bellcore.
Power transformers - Linear, using laminated steel, UI, El or C cores for 47 to 440 Hz, both custom and standard. We produce a wide variety of sizes and styles. These products are designed to conform to the various regulatory agencies throughout the world and commonly include CSA or TUV approval or are covered under one of our UL recognized insulation systems. We produce single phase units weighing up to 1000 Ibs. with ratings up to 30 KW and secondary current ratings of up to 2000 amps. We also produce three phase units up to 10 KW.
Power transformers - Switch mode. Ferrite cores in various styles, such as PQ, ETD, EC, EE, EFD, UI and toroids. These are commonly used in the design of magnetics for a complete range of SMPS topologies, including flyback, forward, push pull, quasi-resonant and others. We commonly design units up to 3.5 KW (using UI64 core type) and have designs for very high operating frequencies. We use all winding techniques, including foil winding, planar, litz wire or S.E.L.V. wire as appropriate. As well, we use the very latest available ferrite and other materials.
High voltage transformers - We produce both laminated and ferrite based types, either dry or oil filled, for a variety of applications which include units for use in laser fusion splicers for fiber optics or X-ray equipment. Operating voltages of up to 120 KV are produced on a regular basis.
